Alyta Atelier is a design tool built on our own fabric archive, and it is now in the hands of every designer in the studio.
For the past year, a small team has been working on a question we kept returning to: what if the 40,000 fabrics, trims and patterns we have collected since 2014 could be searched and recombined in seconds?
Alyta Atelier does exactly that. It reads our archive, understands how materials behave, and proposes combinations our designers can refine. Nothing ships that a person has not touched.
What it changes
- Faster first drafts. A silhouette that used to take two weeks now has a starting point in an hour.
- Less waste. We test far fewer physical samples, so less material goes in the bin.
- Better memory. The tool remembers why a fabric was rejected, so the same mistake is not repeated.
We will publish more about the model, the archive behind it and the limits we set, in the coming weeks.
